Stoney Cross Low Energy House in the UK

The Stoney Cross House has been very thoughtfully planned. PAD Studio is behind this simple and eco-friendly beauty set within The New Forest National Park in the UK. Rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling, a natural swimming pond and the use of sustainable materials helped this home fit in easily with its earthy surroundings.

Celebrity Dining!!

Ever wondered where Diane Keaton eats her morning bowl of cereal (if she eats cereal)? Or where Gerard Butler breaks bread at dinnertime? Some of these dining rooms are just as simple as yours or mine but others are over the top delights! Check 'em out -

I have loved EVERY home that I have come across belonging to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. They have amazing taste!

The Osbourne dining room is so classically chic!

Woody Allen prefers something a little less fancy but still very comfortable and cozy.

Love the old world feel of Gerard Butler's dining area. And that grouping of chandeliers is perfect!

Giorgio Armani kept it simple and lovely.

 Where Adam Levine dines.

Modern and very open in the home of Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy.

LOVE all the earth tones in Diane Keaton's HUGE dining room.

"Bohemian Apartment" in New York

Now, I've heard of a funhouse before (usually found at carnivals) but this New York apartment is a FUN HOUSE! There is so much going on in here and lots of the rooms make me feel as though I am looking at a Wes Anderson movie set. You can tell that Incorporated Architecture & Design put a lot of thought into this place to inject it with kid friendly design while still making it a place that mom and dad can live in too. You'll see what I mean....

Now, I know that this is probably too much for some people but I love the creativity and colorful design in this home! And the neutral wood paneled walls are so beautiful.

An indoor playhouse for the kids! CUTE!!

Obviously the most tame room in the home is mom and dads. Love the antique panel against the wall.

Love the tiled accent.

The Chaise

The Chaise. It can be part of your sofa or it can stand alone. Maybe you put one at the foot of your bed or by a big window. Wherever you put it or whatever you do with it, the chaise is a not to be forgotten, multifunctional furniture piece.

Full of Whimsy in Tuxedo Park!

What happens when you let go and really let the fun and imagination flow in your home decor? This Tuxedo Park home, that's what! Designer, Jeffrey Bilhuber, wasn't afraid to use colors, prints, textures, rug layering, funky pieces (a ship chandelier) and even umbrellas! Now, I know that this sort of eccentricity isn't for everyone but it works for the owners of this unique New York home. Take a peek.
